Welcome to Willow Haven Care Farm
We are a new care farm and alternative education provision near Beccles working with local children and young people.
We offer outdoor, hands-on and nature based sessions for small groups, with the ability to tailor activities to suit individual needs and interests.
About us
Who are we
Willow Haven is run by Jackie and Emma as part of a small team with decades of experience in teaching, outdoor learning and working with children.
We previously operated from Hundred River Farm and hosted family sessions and events however due to the constraints of our new site we are focusing on smaller groups for those who don't thrive in mainstream education.
Why we exist
We’ve worked with enough young people to know that not everyone finds it easy to take part in larger or more structured settings.
Some do better when there’s space around them, something practical to get involved in, and a bit more time to find their way into it.
That sits at the centre of what happens here.
Who is it for
We work mainly with children and young people who need a smaller setting.
This includes:
-
young people who find it hard to settle in mainstream environments
-
those who respond better to practical, outdoor activity
-
private session for up to 8 including private groups and referrals from schools and local services
What to expect
Sessions are small, and kept that way deliberately to allow time to get to know each young person, to notice what they’re comfortable with, and to build up from there.
There’s no fixed programme. The work of the farm shapes what happens — animal care, outdoor tasks, basic maintenance, and time spent alongside each other doing something shared.
