Admission Terms and Conditions

All Tickets are sold subject to availability and to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions should be read prior to purchase as purchasing a Ticket constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

DEFINITIONS

​

‘Ticket’

means any item, tangible or intangible, which confers the right to attend an Event.

 

‘Customer’
includes both the person who purchased, or intends to purchase, Tickets and those within his or her party who are attending the Event, each of whom must possess a valid Ticket.

​

‘Farm’
means any location where an Event is being held that is under direct management of Willow Haven Care Farm representatives in an official capacity on behalf of Willow Haven Care Farm, including but not limited to the management, event, front of house and admin staff members.

​

‘Event’
means any workshop, tour or activity occurring at the Farm in respect of which Tickets are sold. Willow Haven Care Farm agree to provide Services (where applicable) and access to Facilities described in the Ticket Confirmation subject to the following:

1. TICKETS

 

1a. Customers are not required to bring a physical ticket to gain admission. However, a Booking confirmation email or proof of identify must be produced to gain entrance to an Event. Failure to
produce evidence of Ticket Purchase may result in refusal of admission to the premises.


1b. It is the Customer’s responsibility to check their Ticket Confirmation details. The Farm will make all
reasonable endeavours to correct mistakes if brought to their attention prior to the Event for which the Ticket is valid. However, it may not always be possible to rectify mistakes.


1c. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ascertain whether an Event has been cancelled or rescheduled.
In such cases the Farm will make all reasonable endeavours to notify Customers of the change, but
cannot guarantee all will be informed before the date of the Event.


1e. It is the Customer’s responsibility to assess the suitability of an Event for children where no official age
restriction applies.

2. CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION


2a. The Client must take instructions from Willow Haven Care Farm’s Manager (or the nominated supervising
staff member for the occasion) while on the premises.


2b. The Farm reserves the right to refuse admission to a Customer, or to eject them from the Facilities at any point, if in the staff’s reasonable opinion the Customer: is acting in a threatening or aggressive manner; uses threatening, abusive or insulting language; may be a risk to the safety of staff, animals or other visitors; may detract from the enjoyment of other Customers; fails to comply with instructions given by the Farm staff; or is found to be in breach of these terms and conditions or statutory law. No refunds will be given to Customers who are refused entry.


2c. The Customer is responsible for the safety, supervision, control and conduct of all young people or other guests, who they bring onto the premises.


2d. Willow Haven Care Farm is a non-smoking Premise and as such smoking, including e-cigarettes, must be
confined to the designated smoking area (car park)

3. CANCELLATION


3a. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the Event is cancelled, abandoned,
rescheduled.

3b. Refunds shall only be made to the person who purchased the Tickets and, where possible, by the same method used to purchase the Tickets. When it is not possible to refund via the same payment method
the Farm reserves the right to request additional identification or documentation to ensure the money is returned to the correct person.


3c. In the case of a cancelled Event, Customers will be refunded the face value of the Tickets and any associated booking fees they have paid.


3d. In the case of a postponed/rescheduled Event, Customers will be offered alternative Tickets of the
same value for the new date/time, subject to availability. Should the Customer not wish to accept these Tickets then a refund can be obtained for the face value of the Tickets and any associated booking
fees.


3e. If an Event is abandoned after commencing Customers will be offered, subject to availability, equivalent value Tickets for an alternative event or they will be refunded the face value of the Tickets and any associated booking fees they have paid.

4. TICKET PRICES


4a. Ticket prices are subject to change. The Farm reserves the right to change the prices of Tickets and/or introduce discounts/special offers which cannot be retrospectively applied to Tickets already purchased.


4b. All discounts/special offers are offered subject to availability and therefore Tickets may not be available at all advertised prices at all times.


4c. Concession/discounted Ticket prices must be applied for at the time of purchase and cannot be applied to Tickets already purchased. Proof of entitlement to a concession/discount Ticket may be requested from the Customer at the time of booking and/or when they attend the Event. Failure to produce reasonable proof of entitlement to a concession/discount Ticket may invalidate the Ticket and result in refusal of admittance or ejection from the Farm.


4d. Concessions/discounts are offered individually and cannot be used in conjunction with one another.

 

5. GIFT VOUCHERS

 

5a. Gift vouchers can be redeemed in full or in part to purchase Tickets for participating Events in person or by telephone or on the website.

 

5b. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. LIABILITY

​

6a. The Farm will not be responsible for any injury or loss, theft or damage of Customer’s personal belongings, other than that caused as a result of negligence or other breach of statutory duty.

 

6b. Nothing in these terms and conditions seeks to exclude any liability of the Farm for death or personal
injury caused by its negligence or other type of liability which cannot by law be excluded or limited.

 

6c. These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and any disputes which may arise with the Farm are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

 

6d. Willow Haven Care Farm shall not be liable to the Client by reason of any delay in performing or any failure to perform any of Willow Haven Care Farm’s obligations if such delay or failure is due to any cause beyond Willow Haven Care Farm’s reasonable control including (without limitation) Government intervention, strikes, acts of God, national or local disasters or war or any occurrence causing the whole or part of Willow Haven Care Farm to be closed to the public. In such circumstances the charges payable by the Client may be subject to abatement by a fair and reasonable apportionment.


6e. The Client shall be liable for any loss or damage caused to the Premises and the property, equipment or
objects in the Premises by any act or omission of the Client, its subcontractors or guests of the Client, and

shall pay to Willow Haven Care Farm on demand the amount required to remedy any such damage.


6f. The Client agrees and undertakes to indemnify Willow Haven Care Farm and keep Willow Haven Care Farm indemnified against all losses, claims, demands, actions, proceedings, damages, costs, expenses or
other liability in any way arising from:

            a. this Agreement;

            b. any breach of the Customer's undertakings; and/or
            c. the exercise of any rights given to the Customer

 

7. CATERING (where applicable)

 

7a. Willow Haven Care Farm cannot guarantee that any of our products are safe to consume for people with
peanut, gluten, milk, egg, lupin, nut, soya, sesame seed, mustard, wheat or sulphur dioxide allergies. This
also applies to food provided by third parties.


7b. The Client shall accept full liability for adverse reactions to food consumed by guests whilst on the
premises and undertakes to ensure The Premises has been informed of any dietary requirements prior to a
Booking.


7c. The Client will ensure that any customers or guests with food allergies are made aware of this risk of
consuming food on or from The Premises.

 

7d. Willow Haven Care Farm will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to food consumed, or items one may come in contact with while eating products.


7e. Willow Haven Care Farm are able to accommodate some dietary requirements and food allergies upon
request so get in touch if you have specific questions or concerns.


7f. The Client will inform Willow Haven Care Farm of any changes to the numbers of food bookings no less than
5 working days before the Booking. After this point catering will be charged at the pre-agreed price
regardless of the actual numbers of attendees.
